Training: Learning about the research process for PI’s, business managers, and you
ORSP is now offering training for the PI’s, business managers, and anyone else interested in learning about the research process. Last fall a new position was filled - Carol Mitton was hired as the Development Coordinator. Carol had worked on the accounting side of research and will bring that experience to her new position. Last fall, the office held the Subcontract Monitoring information session in October and November. In January, a lunch chat was held to discuss what ORSP can do for you. An information session on General Fund Cost Share was held on February 19th and 20th in the Lindy Boggs Amphitheater. Information sessions are in the works to discuss the pre-award process, how to develop a budget, and how to write a budget justification. Other sessions are also being developed.
